To our esteemed ex-classmate, Mr D.
I 'm writing this letter to express my utmost dissatisfaction regarding your dishonesty and blatant disrespect toward Mr. Minh Friday Public Speaking class. It has come to my attention that you were not content with the final result. Hence, you have openly enquired the lecturer to shed light on the bonus and over grading, which, in itself, is not wrong, as any student has the right to seek clarification on the overall grading. When Mr. Minh stated that all bonus and practical grades accumulated throughout the course have been accounted for in the final grading. Somehow, even an African can sense your discontentment miles away from HUFLIT.
In an unexpected turn of events, what seems to be a formal exchange between students and educators has ignited into a heated debate (from my perspective). Mr. Minh was nothing but generous in terms of student evaluations. Not only has he acknowledged your profound vocabulary and speaking fluency, and overlooked your absentmindedness during class. But he also grants you a 9 out of 10 marks for study behavior. If this isn't generosity, I don't know what is.
Yet, Mr. Minh's concrete evidence has fallen on deaf ears. You debate back and forth with a person whose expertise and generosity are higher than your ego over 15 lengthy minutes. Just because he didn't openly call you out back then doesn't mean your inattentiveness went unnoticed by the class. That being said, judging from your tone and weary gaze, it's apparent that you find Mr. Minh's final grading was far from a fair assessment. Given that the score of those whom you deemed academically inferior is significantly higher than yours.
From an objective standpoint, they rightfully earned their score based on the effort they demonstrated. Everyone has witnessed their growth throughout the course regarding speaking fluency, confidence, articulation, and content delivery. A board topic, effortless slideshows, and a failed attempt at incorporating internet culture references don't make your work stand out. You have all the intellectual resources within your grasp, yet you decide to make colors instead of making efforts. What a waste.
In the end, out of goodwill, Mr. Minh still raises your final score as a form of encouragement after all that fuss. Had it not been him taking up this class, you would are very likely to be lashed out at and reprimanded by any other lecturer. You wear everyone patiently thin and nearly push our lecturer to the brink of rage. Your futile pursuit of transparency has transcended into a reformation nobody wishes for. Thanks to you, Mr. Minh would no longer show his grading leniency to future students of this challenging subject.
Well played, what a way to end the day :^) You d better not let Mr. Minh goodwill go to waste, dear fiend.
